The EBAMA Board of Trustees consists of five members, with three appointed by the Board of Directors and two elected by the General Assembly. According to EBAMA’s bylaws, the appointed trustees serve a 5-year term, contributing their expertise to guide and support the organization in its mission and growth. This balanced composition ensures a collaborative and well-rounded leadership, fostering transparency and representation within our governance structure.

Moreover, the Board of Trustees plays a crucial role in overseeing the organization’s assets, ensuring responsible and effective management to uphold the financial stability and integrity of EBAMA.

Married to Aziza Hassan for 35 years and a proud father of two children.
An engineer by training from San Jose State University School of Engineering and have worked for various companies in Silicon Valley for over 30 years .

Alhamdulillah, I have been with EBAMA since its inception and have served in various management positions.

I am deeply thankful to Allah (SWT) for granting me the opportunity to serve our community—especially for the blessing of working alongside my late brother, rahimahullah, Abella Alemu, a dedicated executive committee member who served faithfully until his last breath. May Allah (SWT) grant him Jannat al-Firdaws.

Currently, I am honored to serve as a member of the Board of Trustees and as part of the EBAMA Hall Purchasing Task Force.

I have had the privilege of being a member of EBAMA since 2001. Since 2014, I have been honored to serve in various capacities, including as a member of the Executive Committee and the Board. I am currently serving on the Board of Trustees. It has been a true privilege to contribute to EBAMA’s mission, and I remain dedicated to supporting its continued success and growth for years to come.
